Safe Harbor Southington relies 100% on donations from the community in order to welcome and resettle refugees who have fled their home countries to escape war, persecution and are unable to return home safely.  Quite often, they leave their homes with nothing but the clothes on their back.

We are blessed to partner with Grace United Methodist Church, who serves as our fiduciary.  This allows us to maximize every dollar donated for the benefit of those we serve.  

Ever hear of the phase, "It takes a village?"  Well, this takes a small village!  We need the community's help, because it does take many volunteers with different skills, to acclimate a family who may not speak English, has no home and no job.  Just think if you had no option, but to abandon your home, your country, your entire support network, and move to a foreign land. Where to even begin?!
