Safe Harbor Southington works with Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services or "IRIS" which is a non-profit social services agency whose mission is to help refugees and other displaced people establish new lives, strengthen hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut's communities.   

IRIS believes that community co-sponsorship groups, like Safe Harbor Southington, are key to enriching the lives of refugees, and allow the community to participate in and become advocates for, refugee resettlement.  IRIS works closely with Safe Harbor and other groups to recruit, support, and provide supervision throughout the resettlement process.
